Resources and monthly insights in following chapters.

Train Of Thought: Following Chapters - Resources

is about Creating Connections

There is 101 ways to manage our farms - our business - our natural resources, - our livestock, - our grazing  and it can be confusing.

We focus on management and systems that delivers regenerative outcomes across all triple bottom line factors:

 Economical - Environmental - Social.

The word regenerative is simply what the word implies. We focus on systems that regenerate.

System outcomes can be simply evaluated across the triple bottom line factors to either:

1. Degrade

2. Sustain at current level state

3. or simply Regenerate

In the same token, with the assistance of simple science, systems can be evaluated to what degree they are actually regenerating.

The following resources chapters (Train Of Thought) all have been collected and recommended by and  from our community asking for more information of the how to make change to more regenerative - socially - biological - ecological - economical systems of agriculture or looking for profitable low cost of production systems.

Some farmers are taking on new income stream projects such as soil carbon- standing carbon - biodiversity offsets and are looking for direction of the how or systems that suit their environment - project - or context.

Creating Connections and creating discussion.

Train Of Thought:

Discussion is GOOD  if it revolves around the "how to" rather than just banter.

Discussion is GOOD if it encourages ACTION.

Discussion is GOOD if it challenges our beliefs.

I have a keen interest in management of our natural resources and take it seriously as a career. I believe that our management can have a great influence on our economy, environment, social and business community.

I have been fortunate to have worked with and learnt from some very skilled and passionate people in our industry and strive to share that knowledge to current and future generations.

I have been involved in agriculture and business for over 30 years. From starting out as a boy on our family farms and business - leaving school attending ag college, then onto working and managing grazing, cropping properties and businesses across NSW, Qld and NT Australia.

2009 it came increasingly apparent to me that all wasn't well with our agriculture and food and business systems.

I started questioning and looking for answers  by under-taking further  education academically studying via a Bachelor of Ecological Agriculture degree (CSU), visiting and working in pioneering farms in this field.

I still never stop learning.

Regenerative Agriculture and Regenerative Grazing once explained well is extremely common sense and once you have gained it's knowledge is very simple to do.

But nature is incredibly complex and far beyond we humans to fully understand. Thankfully her patterns are simple to follow.

However, management is an art, a craft and a science. Natures knowledge and patterns needs to be passed down and craft and skill set, continually sharpened.

This RGA website and recommended education programs capture and utilise learnings from great ecological and agribusiness insightful pioneers, innovators, early adopters, farmers, scientists and leading educators in many fields of regen agriculture.

Our goal is:

  •  to share ground breaking information of regenerative agriculture and especially in regenerative grazing as a key stone foundation factor.
  • Encourage diverse discussion:
